Sure it took 9 hours instead of 6 because we almost ran out of gas in New Jersey and none of the NJ gas stations on I-78 had power OR gas (my awesome co-workers totally came through for us and called every gas station in the area until they found one with gas that we could get to before we ran out) but we made it and the cat didn’t pee in the car and my family’s massive dog didn’t eat the cat when we arrived so altogether…not a bad trip. Totally worth it for Internet access, hot showers, and my mom’s homemade chicken soup. Plus! I get to work tomorrow. And I LOVE my job and have missed my co-workers dearly these past few days without Internet or electricity. :)

And you, Tumblr! I have missed you too. Glad to be back online.

Hopefully Jersey will have power restored by the time we get back on Sunday. *fingers crossed*
