Walt as Jesse, Jesse as Walt

Emmys 2010

Shame on Walt. Like, I hate Walt for what he’s done to Jesse. If only Jesse knew all the horrible things that he did, oh my God. I love that they’re back together, but it’s always been such a back-and-forth struggle, a love-hate relationship. But I think at the end, in the parking lot, I think they’re there for each other. They know it was a rough ride. I think they understand each other as true partners now. I don’t think Walt considers himself as a boss to Jesse anymore. Maybe deep down, because Walt has a big ego, but I think Jesse sees himself as being equal to Walt.

Nick Offerman and the ‘Smashed’ cast star in the greatest Sundance portrait ever

Cast portraits at Sundance are a photo-service staple, but they’re usually just run-of-the-mill group shots, maybe featuring a little bit of mugging for the camera. Offerman and his “Smashed” cohorts, however, have taken the form to a new level. Also, we really dig his hat.

“Smashed” stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead (“The Thing”) and “Breaking Bad’s” Aaron Paul as a couple trying to come to grips with their drinking problem. The cast also includes Golden Globe winner Octavia Spencer (“The Help”) and Megan Mullally (Offerman’s wife). Also in the picture are producer Jonathan Schwartz and writer-director James Ponsoldt (flanking Paul).

Uhm…this is perfect.

“Yo, marry me, bitch.”

Holy eyeliner, Batman! This is Aaron Paul (Jesse Pinkman in AMC’s Breaking Bad) as Michael Zizzo, an atheist accused of committing satanic human sacrifice in Criminal Minds, Ep 1.10 “The Popular Kids”. For those of you who don’t remember, Aaron was also spotted with a giant fake penis in Whatever It Takes.

Thanks to ohthehugemanatee for completely making Rebecca’s life with this awesome submission.

omfg i just started watching Criminal Minds and I totally forgot to expect this. SO. MUCH. EYELINER. I fucking love it.

GQ’s Badasses of the Year:
The Men of Breaking Bad

Our culture critic  Tom Carson on the AMC meth-dealer-in-the-desert epic’s ensemble cast and its mesmerizing fourth season:

With just one season left to go, Breaking Bad has shifted from being all about Bryan Cranston’s triple-Emmy’d (so far) lead performance to the best ensemble show on TV. This year, we were spun around four compromised points of the male compass: brains (the increasingly Machiavellian Walt), ego (Giancarlo Esposito’s drug kingpin Gus), heart (Aaron Paul’s Jesse, Walt’s reluctant sorcerer’s apprentice), and pure testosterone (Dean Norris as Hank, Walt’s DEA-agent brother-in-law—who’s got a supernally wise dark-side twin in Jonathan Banks, Gus’s head enforcer). Which one we get off on most says as much about us as picking our favorite Beatle.

This is far too attractive.

Come back to us, Aaron Paul.
