I’m back from Denver. It’s 2 a.m. in NYC but my body thinks it’s midnight. I’ve been traveling since 11:30 am MT…and have just had five of the most fun, creative, challenging, and exhausting days of my life with my co-workers.
It’s a damn shame we work in a virtual office because they are some of my favorite people and I wish we could all hang out more often.
You may or may not be aware that Upworthy is a very serious organization wherein we take our jobs very seriously and test everything with seriousness and gravity in order to make it as shareable as humanly possible. Seriously.
This is why Community Manager Kaye and Editorial Fellow Rebecca need facial hair for Tumblr brainstorming sessions. Because we’re serious.

"It would be great if you walked up regardless. It’s only the 3rd floor and you guys make the elevator stink!"
Whoever added the commentary at the bottom of this note in our office elevator is my hero. Getting into a stuffy elevator with bikram yoga enthusiasts who don’t have the decency to shower after their sweat sessions is the worst.
