"[…] It’s also a film in which violence and sex are mixed quite thoroughly, and I found it, um, interesting that actresses Jessica Alba and Kate Hudson were perfectly willing to be beaten to a pulp on screen, but balked at baring their breasts in otherwise torrid sex scenes. Not that there’s any shortage of bare breasts in movies these days. But what does it say about sex and violence that one is prudish about the former yet perfectly willing to depict the worst degeneracy of the latter? I don’t have a problem with sex in films, either, as a general rule. But I do have a problem when it seems that some people only want to see teats on a cow, not a woman, but it’s perfectly okay to butcher either one."
